Our Story
It all started on the shores of Ballito, a coastal town where the ocean isn’t just a backdrop, it’s a way of life. We’re a tight-knit group of friends who share a deep obsession with all things saltwater. From early morning surf sessions and epic fishing missions to spearfishing beneath the waves, the ocean has always been our playground.

Driven by our passion and the desire to document the adventures that brought us so much joy, we created an Instagram page to share snapshots of our salty lifestyle. What began as a few reels and posts quickly found a growing community of ocean lovers who felt the same pull we did.

As our tribe grew, so did our ambition. We launched The Salt Rockers YouTube channel—a space where we could dive deeper, tell our stories, showcase our skills, and take our audience along for the ride. Whether it's chasing gamefish, exploring hidden reefs, or catching the perfect wave, we’re here to inspire, entertain, educate and connect through the ocean.

One of our biggest goals is to give back to the community by helping new kayak fishermen get started safely and confidently. We know the learning curve can be steep—from gear setup and launch techniques to reading conditions and targeting the right species. That’s why we’re committed to creating content that breaks it down, step by step. No gatekeeping, no ego—just real knowledge from real experience.
